June 6 - 8, 2008 POSTPONED ...until further notice Benefiting Kimble Anders’ Running Back Giving Back Foundation
Purpose & Concept Kimble Anders has teamed up with Floy Johnson Promotions to bring in celebrities from the different leagues to host a celebrity weekend on Friday & Saturday, June 6 – 7, 2008. This event will involve an All Sports Camp at Will Shields 68’s Inside Sports in Overland Park, KS. Along with the all sports camp, they will host a Celebrity Bowling Challenge and Golf Tournament with NBA players, NFL players and other friends to raise funds for Kimble’s foundation. However, before the discussion turns toward the events, let's talk about Kimble’s foundation.
The Running Back Giving Back Foundation benefits Kansas City's youth by providing programs and opportunities that support all aspects of positive personal growth and well-being. Our focus is to help the youth of Kansas City strengthen their character, morals, values along with building their self-esteem – tools that can improve their lives as they strive to make positive contributions to society. RBGB is dedicated to creating and providing opportunities for Kansas City’s youth by developing their young minds for the future.
Anders’ heart is the size of his career and he showcases his efforts through his foundation. Kimble lends his name to causes all over the US and the world that matter to him most. Moreover, Kimble has the belief that every child deserves a chance to learn, play, and grow in a safe and friendly environment. He believes that all children should be exposed to opportunities that seem to be out of their reach.
About the Promoter Floy Johnson Promotions (FJP) has been a community leader for over 16 years, bringing together professional athletes in a
fun-filled environment to benefit charitable organizations. To date, FJP has hosted various fundraising events such as the NBA/NFL Players Back-To-Camp Weekend and Celebrity Weekends that have been attended by world-class athletes, such as NBA Hall of
Famer Moses Malone, Shaquile O’Neal, Robert Horry, Steve McNair, Eddie George, Sam Cassell, Donovan McNabb, Nick Van Excel, and many, many more. Activities Planned

This is a working camp that will include weight training and learning the fundamentals of football, basketball and softball.
Celebrity Bowling Challenge, 7pm -10pm –
